Italy- Rome Only a few dozen people were saved on Sunday after the capsizing of a fishing boat that one of the survivors said carried 700 people, raising fears that the migrant tragedy off Libya's coast could become the Mediterranean's deadliest.
How can it be that we daily are witnessing a tragedy?" asked Italian Premier Matteo Renzi, who huddled with his top ministers in an emergency strategy session in Rome.
