Liberia has been declared Ebola free nation

Liberia has been declare Ebola free country. The Ebola virus that killed more than a 4,700 Liberians has finally been eradicated in the country after a period of 2 and half year fighting the virus. Liberia president Ellen Johnson Sirleaf said that the country had. "crossed the Rubicon" and would be celebrating a concerted effort to stem the disease.More than 4,700 deaths from Ebola have beenrecorded in Liberia, more than in any other affected country. The virus has claimed over 11,000 lives across the region since last year recorded. The world health Organisation regards a country Ebola-free after a 42-day period without a new case - twice the maximum incubation period.
