Tsunami disaster threaten to occur In Tokyo Japan

The Japanese meteorology agency issued a tsunami warning early on Sunday following a magnitude 5.9 quake in the Pacific south of Tokyo. The quake hit near Torishima island about 600km south of Tokyo, at 01:51, the weather broadcast said. Following the quake which hit a very shallow point of the seabed on Sunday, the agency issued a tsunami waring of up to one metre for the Izu island chain, south of Tokyo, and the Ogasawara archipelago, far south in the Pacific Ocean. A wave of 50cm was seen to have reached Hachijojima island, one of the Izu islands.
