State police have confirmed that all three passengers on the plane did not survive. Four people and a cat were in the home at the time of the crash and were able to escape safely. The piston-powered plane crashed into the paleyellow, two-story home at 25 Bridle Path at about 5:45 p.m.

The plane crashed into the back of the roof, and by midevening crews were breaking down the ravaged top floor of the structure. The fire was extinguished around 8 p.m., but smoke still wafted from the broken windows.
