America- Official said in North carolina that a 13 -year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy each lost an arm in two separate shark attacks at a North Carolina beach on Sunday. The female was first attacked around 4 p.m. and the second incident happened less than 90 minutes later. Both victims were airlifted to New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, where they were in fair condition, The female had her arm amputated at the elbow while the boy’s arm was amputated below the shoulder, a spoke person said. Experts said it was likely the animal was a black tip or spinner shark, which are usually about six to seven feet long, live in the surf and normally go after fish. When they mistake humans for fish and bite them, they tend to realize their mistake and move on.
